Occasionally, when updating your TalkSwitch software, the
language options will not properly update. This will cause the auto attendant,
voicemail and other TalkSwitch features that rely on the language options to
not function properly. To resolve this issue:
1.
Proceed to Global Settings- Administration in
the TalkSwitch Management Software.
2.
In the language section, select ‘Edit’ and then
choose ‘English’ and press ‘Add’. This will read the English language as an
option- make sure it is selected as the default language (if it is your default
language).
3.
Then, in the toolbar, press ‘Tools’, then ‘Update
System Firmware’ and press ‘Update’. This will disconnect all calls currently
in progress.
4.
Once the update has completed, reboot the system
in the TalkSwitch Management Software by going to the toolbar, selecting ‘Tools’,
then ‘Reboot System’ and ‘Reboot Now’.
